John Isner here with Sam Quarry, looking dapper in Paris at Wallangeros. So we get Stevie Johnson. Should have put a suit on for this. I feel like, you should have. That should have been a nice touch. Thursday, put a suit on. Thursday, I'll wear the suits right here behind me. I'll put a suit on, suit and tie on for you guys. We'll keep it classy, round two. And obviously we're joined by the team at SIF, Charlie Fox and the team at SIF Creative. I would appreciate if they wore suits too. They probably are behind the scenes. They are the actual suits. Yeah, they are. Yeah. So anyways, let's get this something major started. I feel like it's been a long time because it has been a long time since January. Yeah. Doing something major. Sam, how's it going here so far at RG? I think how's it going? Forget the tournament. How's it going for us? It's good. Day three here, it's, well, day three, it's day like six. We did a few things for Bleacher Report beforehand.

Round ones are over now. It's been hot. It's been like 90 degrees. Everyone is, we've been

sweating on set, but it's been fun. It's been good. We had a dramatic match last night with

Monfis, but we'll get into it now. Let's get into it. You want to start or you want to like... I want to lead with Stevie from over there in L.A. Obviously, it's a bit difficult to watch the early matches, I would imagine. I don't think you're getting up at 2 a.m. to watch Roland Garros. No, it's a little early for me 2 a.m. But, you know, the other way, I'm catching a lot.

You know, I'm waking up at like five anyway, so I'm still catching a lot of the tennis, and it's just kind of on all day. You just catch the matches, you pop into one, and you kind of see it through. Yep. When Stevie, I think the, well, I'll speak for Sam here, I think the big stories, there's two big stories on day one,

and that is the Roland Gros farewells for Stan Vaubrinka, obviously the 2015 champion,

and Gail Montfiz, who both go out in the first round, Stan in four sets,

Monfees in five sets, Bagel in the fifth.

I guess putting the matches aside, Steve,

like what do you, for these two players,

what do you think they have meant to this tournament in particular?

Let's start with Stan from your perspective.

Yeah, it's remarkable what he was able to achieve there.

Funny enough, I actually played him in a third round the year he won a title. Forget what year it was now, maybe 2015 or 16. 15. 15. So, you know, and at the time. He crushed you. And the bull race. Oh, dude, no, no. Yeah, yeah. but i'm saying at the time you know i was in

the third round like you know stan can have some off days he's like one of those guys that could

have an off day so i was like i felt pretty good we're playing on the old bowl ring court i'm like

okay maybe stan has like an off day i can feel pretty good and lo and behold i was down six three
