Under the Hood Show. What can we do for you? Hey, thanks for thanking my call. My daughter has an avalanche,

2007, 1,500, and she can't get it to go into four-wheel drive and we've done quite a bit of research and

testing and we've determined that the front axle actuator is not working but the act actuator actually does work.

So we've kind of isolated it down to either the wiring going to the transfer case shift control module or the wiring to it because if we test it on a battery, we can get the

actuator to work.

It's not throwing any codes, but we do have a wiring diagram that's not very good.

And it shows that possibly the prop shaft speed sensor, either front or rear rear could be part of the issue or it could even be the

module itself is there any way to test those items well it sounds like you know more about

this than some of the people in the room. That seems fair. And I don't think it's safe to have an avalanche in Colorado. Just a thought. I was wondering if maybe he was calling from avalanche and had a Colorado. But I went with the other. Okay, it was safer that way. You don't want to be under the avalanche.

No, and we see. In it. We see a lot of avalanches in South Dakota, not this, not the kind. That's bad avalanche jokes. I should just stop. You want to try to do a different one? No, I'm pretty much down this trail and I got to quit. All right. But we've seen a lot of these vehicles at the shop have,

and we've run, same as A vehicles at the shop, haven't we?

Same as Avalanche, Suburban, Silver Auto, same system in all of them.

They can all be tested.

You can get a good wiring diagram, even off the internet for this. and it's going to show you everything from the module on out, which is going to be from the module to the transfer case motor,
