Yeah, today's QOD is entertainment is okay, but in small doses, here we go.

Welcome back to the QOD of the day show. I'm your host, Sean Croxton, a Sean Croxton.com.

We got Darren Hardy back on the show for part two of his talk and today he's going to dive deeper

into the skills gap and he's going to show you his plan for developing the most important skill

for accomplishing your goal. He's also going to talk about the great divide between the halves

and the half-nots, which is entertainment. Half-nots have this need to be entertained all the time.

Watching TV, scrolling Instagram, whereas the halves minimize their entertainment and really maximize

their education. Reminds me of what Dr. Kimbrough was talking about on one of our episodes. He was talking

about when you buy an expensive house in Atlanta, in that house, you will always find a library.

But if you go to the home of a half-not, what do you find? You find a gigantic TV

because they're interested in entertainment over education. I was talking to a friend of mine

and she said that she always worries about being poor again and she does really, really well.

And we were talking about that and I said, I don't worry about that.

And the reason I don't worry about being poor again is because I have too many skills.

Like I've read thousands of books. I've watched hundreds of courses. I've done the work where

if I were to get canceled or the bottom fell out of this podcast and I lost all of my income,

I wouldn't sweat one bit. I can go out into the marketplace and find a job literally by tomorrow

because I have so many skills. And if you don't have those skills, you don't have that security.

You're worried all the time about losing something, right? Losing your job. But when you've got

skills, you don't worry about that stuff. You don't worry about losing your income because

I can literally drop somebody who has multiple skills into a brand new country with no money

and they will still thrive because of what is in their head and also their attitude as well.
