Our guest today is William Schun.

His short fiction has appeared in Salon, Storyteller, Asimov's, and The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, as well as various anthologies and Best Of collections. His chapbook, An Alternate History of the 21st century, appeared in 2007, and his

novella cast a cold eye, written with Darrell Murphy, came out in 2009.

His new memoir, The Accidental Terrorist, describes how as a young Mormon missionary in Canada,

Bill found himself charged with hijacking.

I also just want to add that Bill is an old friend of mine.

We belonged to the same

writers group in the early 2000s and his story is one of the most

amazing true stories I've ever heard. I've been waiting for years for him to

finally publish this book so that we could get him on the show. So I really hope everyone sticks around for that.
