Now this episode is with the fabulous James McInerney aka James Mac, the makeup wizard that you love from season two of Netflix's blow up and his BFF Alice Coppen, who you may not know yet, but will come to love just like I did.

We were talking about Nova Scotia, that's where the show starts and that's what we're going to start it right now.

Yeah Nova Scotia. Yeah. Oh my god. You have folks in Nova Scotia. Yeah. What I think right before the pandemic your intention was to possibly move to Canada.

Really? Well I mean everyone had different 2020 intentions. Yeah exactly. My brother lives for like six months of the year in Whistler and then comes home to Ireland for the other six months.

Oh wow. Oh that's cool. My cousin's in Vancouver and he was so college is all your name come up to van. I was like how are you Rory? It's great to hear from you.

Bit of a stretch there in a row. Not the same kind of stretch like in the evenings. You know, soon enough cousin. Yeah, soon enough.

No, I do love Canadian people are just they're lovely people. Yeah, I find there's really a similarity. Of course I mean a lot of the people are from Ireland and Scotland originally.

But I find that there's something really familiar to me and London about people and and then with you two as well or any most Irish people that I've met I get along with pretty easily.

Absolutely. Yeah. I started driving in London but it wasn't because I felt like I had to move to London to do that. It was just my one of my original like drag sisters from Ireland moved six months before me.

And then that's just how the ball kind of started rolling. I mean that's when we get to the point that's how blow up happened. I never planned to go to London but it's so close and then it is kind of like our answer to what New York or LA would be on like a large scale of a lot like the biggest city.

The biggest international city near us. Yeah.

And so it's Dublin obviously being like Ireland's primary city but it feels so different even all of our friends like we're hitting the 30 bracket and I'll come up soon there and people.

He's telling anybody what have I told you it's 1990.

Which is nice because I'm 22 then.

I know you were saving it for the show and I appreciate that.

You do realize though when if you ever go fully grey hair then you have that voice like you're going to be like a mythical creature. I'm totally down for that.

Yeah.

And if you don't wear a two-piece suit and a shirt when you leave the house with the hair, I'm going to be very mad at you.

Okay well listen I don't want to make you mad. You know because we've just met but I care about you and you know that.

And I can tell that you want what's best for me. Yeah exactly.
