Thanks for tuning in everybody on this week's episode. We're going to be talking about what you should do if you bump a buck

It's a situation that we've all been in and it's probably going to happen to us again

And while at first it may feel like a really bad thing

There's definitely ways that you can use bumping above tier advantage and in this podcast

We're just going to be talking about different situations that we've been in before where we bumped a buck and try to use it to our advantage

And sometimes we're successful sometimes we're not but it's actually pretty surprising how many times we're able to find that buck again

Whether it's that same day a few days later or maybe even just deeper into the piece of public land that we're hunting

Bumping a buck has really just become this thing that we have seen is almost a positive thing

You know it lets us know that there's one in the area and sometimes that's all the confidence that you really need to hunt down a specific spot

So early season is officially here and one important thing that can change your luck is having good optics when you're out in the field

I think no matter what type of habitat and terrain you're hunting

Having binoculars with you at the minimum is really important a lot of times

I have

pair binoculars and at least in the truck with me have a spotter at all times

If I'm hunting open country a lot of times I'm going to pack that spotter in and that's going to help me

Figure out where there's target deer where there's just deer moving in general

And that's going to help me build confidence to move into specific areas to hunt even if you're in the dense timber

I still think binoculars are super important. You never know when you might

Need to get a closer look at something that may be a deer or even just confirm if you're looking at a buck or a doe out of the disments

I think it's just really important to have a good pair of binoculars

And it's definitely something I don't want to go to the woods without honestly if I forget my binoculars
