She's an SLP with seven years of experience in the acute care setting.

She received her master's degree from Northwestern University where she was training

dysphasia diagnostics and videophoreoscopy by Dr Jerry Logan.

She now serves as the lead SLP at California Hospital Medical Center,

a level 2 trauma center and primary stroke center in downtown LA, where she supervises and mentors a team of 9 SLPs.

She specializes in into spasia care for the critically ill, multi-trauma, and tracheostomy ventilator dependent populations.

Kelsey launched a fees program at her hospital to facilitate early swallow intervention

for the mechanically ventilated population.

She currently serves as a mentor for the Med SLP Collective and guest lectures at California State University Fullerton.
