Hey everybody. Welcome in to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter podcast. It should be Friday morning when you are listening to this. I intend on getting this podcast out this evening. We actually just finished up recording this episode of the podcast is with Dan Johnson, host of the Nine Finger

Chronicles.

And boy, Dan puts out arguably as much or more content than anybody that is putting out deer

hunting and hunting content these days.

So I was excited for the opportunity to have Dan on.

He's got a couple super cool out-of-state trips that he's got going.

One to South Dakota for mule deer and one to Michigan for whitetail.

That's right.

Dan is traveling from Iowa in October to Michigan to hunt White Tail.

So we're kind of breaking down those hunting trips,

talking about what Dan's plans and strategies are for being successful,

what his goals and aspirations are of getting out of those trips,

and then we're breaking down Dan's gear list,

the gear that he's using and finding a ton of value in South Dakota for

the spotting and stalking approach. And then breaking down what he's doing when he's coming to

Michigan as well as his white tail gear list essentially is his mobile hunting setup and how he

runs, talking about his bow and some other gear, and then we break down.

Basically, when it comes down to it, Dan Johnson's probably talked and had more hours of
