What's your name? Connor? Connor. How old are you? Thirteen. How long have you had type one? Since I was three for 10 years. Three? Wow. The last person I talked to who had it since they were two and they were 13. Wow. You got him, he's got you by a little bit. You don't remember anything about being diagnosed, I imagine?

1:30.0

I know a little bit. So we were actually in Daytona for a vacation, and we were getting ice cream. So we did that. And once we were done, we went to the car and I remember I had to go to the bathroom a lot.

1:47.1

Yeah. And then I also remember throwing up a lot and then I just passed out.

1:52.7

Really? You recall that from being three? That's something. How does your, when your parents retell that story, do they sound scared when they talk about it? Yeah, definitely a little bit scared. Yeah. Are you the oldest of your, how many siblings? Three. Three are you the oldest? Mm-hmm. You are. Anybody else have type one? No. No. How about it in your extended family? Um, aunt's uncles, cousins. Um, my aunt's husband has diabetes. Okay. Do you guys ever talk about it? Yeah, we talk about it all the time. Do you? Mm-hmm. Does he use a pump? No, he just does the insulin shots. He does shots, but you do. What pump do you have? Tandom. So you use Control IQ? Yeah. Yeah. Did you update it recently to the new software? Yes. You like it? Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. What does it do something that helps you? I just stay in range a little bit more. So the new update helps you stay in range even better? Yeah. It's awesome. Was it doing well before that? Yeah. Yeah. Just a little bit of an upgrade. Yeah. You take that, right? What's your favorite low snack when you get? What do you like to? Probably cheese crackers or a strawberry wafer bar. Strawberry. Oh, so the vanilla wafers with the strawberry cream in between? Yeah. I prefer the vanilla, but I'm with you on that. And they help you. How many do you have to eat to like stop a low? Um, usually I just do one. Really? It's a unique answer. Most people are like, you know what most people say, right? Like fruit roll-ups, gummy bears. Oh,y, stuff like that. Skittles, people say all the time.

3:26.2

I just, I don't go for like super high carbs, so I don't rise a lot.

Um, so our middle school doesn't do really any baseball, but our town does a huge baseball league. Yeah. Where from little indiana indiana nice you where you play first base um no catcher you catcher in third catcher in third i played third when i was younger yeah it's the ball comes at you so incredibly fast at third right it's insane isn't it, isn't it? Yeah. I'll tell you later about
