| 0:00.0 | Good morning my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset edition of the |
| 0:07.4 | Lib Bill Change Podcast. I have a question for you this morning. What is the source of your joy? Have you given that |
| 0:17.4 | much thought lately? What is the source of your joy? I believe that the answer to |
| 0:22.3 | this question can reveal a lot to us about our |
| 0:26.0 | mindset about what we truly believe down deep inside and you have to answer honestly in order for it to have that kind of a benefit. |
| 0:35.3 | So I'm asking you again, what is the source of your joy? |
| 0:40.1 | Now the Sunday school answer would be, well Jesus obviously God you know of course God is my joy |
| 0:46.9 | but when it comes down to the practical beliefs you hold the true reality of what it is that you draw your joy from. That's often not the case. It's a pragmatic sort of a belief. We have it in our minds, but it's not truly what we live out of. |
| 1:06.8 | I'm discovering more and more that joy is a vital vital piece of living. |
| 1:17.9 | It's not selfish. In fact, it's something God himself commands us to have. He commands us to have joy, to live in a place of joy. |

| 1:31.0 | The Holy Spirit of God is the one who produces joy in us. He produces it in us |
| 1:36.1 | through it in a variety of means, but he does it for our great blessing and benefit, but also to bring great glory to God. |
| 1:47.0 | And he produces it in us primarily through the way that we think, I believe, the things we believe. |
| 1:59.2 | Psalm chapter 16 verse number 11 says you God make known to me the path of life |
| 2:06.8 | in your presence there is fullness of joy at your right hand are pleasures forevermore |
| 2:16.7 | So you see when God points us toward joy he's pointing us toward himself. And that may sound a little, I don't know, egotistical in some way that God points us to himself as the source of full |
| 2:21.4 | joy. But the reality is, if God is everything we imagine him to be, |
| 2:28.0 | everything the scriptures reveal him to be, |
| 2:31.0 | perfect, infinite, love, full of grace, full of mercy, full of justice, full of wisdom, |
| 2:39.9 | full of power, then the truth is that he is the only source of true joy. And so back to my question, |
| 2:49.6 | what do you derive your joy from? What's the source of your joy? Is it circumstances? Is it |
