And that is whether Joanne was complicit in the disappearance of Lynn or whether she was just another victim of Chris.

Can I go back to something that Jim said about Joanne and carrying the guilt?

I've been wondering about this.

If she carries the guilt knowing that there would have been no need for Chris to allegedly have murdered Lynn, if Joanne had been able to carry on and run away with him.

So almost not to blame her, but you know, the trigger for him having to come back is her physical inability to run away.

The minute that she gets that stomachache and is unable to carry on with them running away and they've got to turn around.
