We're trying something a little different.

This is an experiment.

What we're doing with this show, we wanted to kind of take account of 2014.

This has been an especially unusual year in New York City, I'd say.

And so we kind of wanted to present our thoughts.

You know, we normally look at New York City's past.

And so there's been enough unusual things happening this year that I thought,

let's just take a break and look at this past year.

But bear with us because we're kind of new at this.

You know, we're used to talking about Peter Stivison and Boss Tweed.

But right now we get to mention names like Bill de Blasio
