We go on people social media profiles and we see how awesome their lives appear to be,

you know, their Facebook life, their Instagram life.

And we start comparing ourselves to that.

And somebody said, I forget who said it comparison is the thief of joy.

And we lose a lot of the joy in our lives because we're just comparing ourselves to others.

And what we think their life is because we saw it on our phone or we saw it on the laptop.

And so Amy talks a lot about that.

And in this talk, she talks about our bad habits, those bad habits that we have,

like comparing ourselves to others, that cost us so much in our lives.

My journey taught me that the secret to being mentally strong is that you have to give up your bad mental habits.

Mental strength is a lot like physical strength.

If you wanted to be physically strong, you'd need to go to the gym and lift weights.

But if you really wanted to see results, you'd also have to give up eating junk food.
