Hey everybody this is Blake with Marvel.com and it is kind of we have some

legends here every once in a while and this is a very rare treat I just introduce yourself yourself sir and we'll get started.

Cal Ripkin I used to be a baseball player my last year with 2001 and I guess I'm

most famously known for playing in all those games in a row.

And we, you're known as the Iron Man.

We have you in the Iron Man room.

Has there ever been any confusion between you and our superhero?

I don't consider myself in that category.

I would though.

Being a superhero.

I just

was referred to as the Iron Horse and I broke Lou Gehrig's record of 2,130 games

and somehow I just started getting tagged with the label of being the Iron Man.

It's uncomfortable. the label of being the Iron Man.

It's uncomfortable for me.

Why sir?

Because I don't perceive myself to be, you know, I was resilient mentally, I was pretty

strong, physically, I could heal pretty quickly but I loved to play the game of baseball and it was a game that I was playing so it wasn't serious serious work but it was a dream for me to play so I guess that the humble

side of me just wants to be known as a player. Have you ever met Robert Downey Jr?

I have not.

I think that would blow up the world if the two of you were in the same room or something.

That'd be cool.
