This is sometimes attributed to St. Patrick, but she tells her college students this.

On the last day of class, because she'll pray over the chairs before the semester starts.

Like, where was going to be sitting here?

She prays for them.

Oh man, I love that.

And at the end of the semester, with all of them there, she says, can I pray a blessing

over you?

And she stands up and says, may the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face.

The rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the

palm of his hand.
