I'm going to be a little different than a special guest. Today is going to be

a little different than our normal format. This is part two of the Alyssa Turney case, and Jessica and I

had the opportunity to speak with her sister, Sarah Turney. We'll discuss their childhood in the

case more in depth. Along with that, you'll also hear about Sarah's journey for justice for

Alyssa. Like we said in part one, we always want to present with the utmost respect for the victims of the cases we cover and their loved ones.

So we felt the best way to do this was to present this case with Sarah herself.

We would also like to remind you like we did in part one that this recording took place prior to the arrest of Michael Turney.

Now with that, let's go ahead and get into the episode.

So I think one of the biggest things that stands out is the differences in yours and Alice's

childhoods in like your upbringing.

So we kind of wanted you to dive into the difference between how Mike parented the both

of you.

So like you and her and then if there was any obvious changes,

like looking back from before Alyssa disappeared to after. Like you said, Alyssa and I were

treated completely differently. You know, Alyssa was watched over very closely. She had a lot of

strict rules that I never had. You know, It was a fight for her to have a boyfriend.

Our father, I should say, made her sign these contracts stating that she wasn't allowed to walk alone like at night, which to me is insane.

Because by the time I was 17, my boyfriend was moving in with me and my father.

And he gave me a mini fridge and filled it with beer.
