It's the first snow here in New York I saw for that year.

Oh, no snow in 2013. Absolutely, not one single drop.

What was 2013 like for you in the Tsar?

The Tsar is in 2013, let's say relatively few yield,

yield a good quality, not an extraordinary high

a excellent but really a good quality which will bring out wines with less alcohol, high concentration and a lot of tension,

so a good choice, but very, very few. We are in the saverly exceptionally low yields this year and this was

due to the noble rod which was coming relatively early, late September and beginning of

October it yeah we were losing 10% every day so it was really a difficult harvest.

Was it something you had to really go fast?

We had to start very early and to select and to select and to select.

So we had three, four, sometimes five passings through each parcel,

only to keep and to save the new and fresh rotten and infected berries.

If not everything would have been fallen to the ground and you have nothing at the end so you have really a very

expensive harvest as well. How did that contrast to a year like 2012? 2012 is absolutely fantastic year.

We have the classic Riesling vintage I would say.

So not enormous quantities on grapes but very good ripened
