Yes so it's an interesting journey Carolyn this is my eighth book. So I started my pathway into wellness,

wanting to feel better in my own body, which I think is why a lot of us get called to wellness. I had a lot of

digestion issues. I had acne. In high school, I had eating disorders. I ended up

traveling around the world for three years after college, after thinking I was going to be a doctor I went in with the partial science math scholarship and I worked in a hospital and realized it wasn't my path so I saved up some money, I went on the road, and it really dramatically changed my

perspective of wellness and beauty and energy and success and all these different

aspects of life. So I was starting to teach yoga, I was going back to nutrition school.

And I was really speaking about this different approach which was you know now we hear more about

holistic wellness but it really was about the total person mentally spiritually energetically, emotionally, and physically.
