It is time for the official, unofficial thinking basketball sub all-stars.

That's where we breeze our way through all-star level players.

We don't care about the fact that you only need 24 of those.

And then we make a team of the next tier of players, the guys just not quite good enough,

the almost stars, maybe you could have them in, maybe you could have them out. Some of the most important

players in the history of basketball, the third and fourth and fifth starters on quality teams

that win you championships that don't get the little star next to their name on

basketball reference Cody I'm already fired up for this it is sub all-star time.

This is yeah there's there's one player I mean I going to say Drew Holiday's name right now,

because the fact that he has 10 years, a 10 year gap between those stars next to his name,

just don't give enough credence to how valuable this guy has been to high-level teams.

And I think this is the best space to celebrate those kinds of players that don't get that

star.

That's a great way to call this out.

Yeah, it's funny you mentioned Drew Holiday because he was on the sub all-all-star team a couple years ago and then it's just like I have him as an all-star for too many years and it's interesting that he's only made two official all-star teams a decade apart.

But before we get into this year's team, the way we do this is we blast through the all-star

players, we'll get to kind of the cutoff.
