Friend of mine has a really interesting job. He writes jingles and commercials, not just jingles, but commercial music, like filmic type music.

It gets used in movies or whatever. But he's kind of scrapping.

He's got kids. He's got to make ends meet, but it's up to people to say we want this song.

He's just creating. He was just telling me, I've had to realize I'm just going to be faithful every day with what I'm doing.

It's a god take care of it. If somebody wants to pick up this song for whatever in six months or a year, I can't control that.

It's a tough lesson, but a good one.

Yeah, so he's just like nose to the grindstone. Keep creating. Keep doing my thing. Do the best I can every day. That's all I can do.

Like, dude, that's all any of this can do. That's such a beautiful way to live because it simplifies things so much.

You don't have to worry about, like god take care of the results six months from now. Even tomorrow.

But I'm going to be faithful with what he puts in front of me today. That's it.

Josh listens to the show and he asks me a question and it's a real good one because he was talking about being a dad.

He's got little kids. He's like, did you ever when the kids were growing up? Did you have regrets or things you're kicking yourself for while they were growing up?

Like decisions you're making. It's a good question.

It is. And I was like, yes, I had horrible regrets while the kids were in the house.

Really?

Yeah, and one of them was I couldn't get a yard for them. I wanted a yard so bad for these two little kids.

Is it financial?

Financial.

We were living in town homes, couldn't afford it.
