I'm calling about the state of art in our current fascist climate.

I am kind of disheartened by the lack of truly revolutionary art that is happening,

like specifically in music and theater. I'm an actor.

And, like, in days gone by, we had, like, Woody Guthrie. We had, like, Credence Clearwater,

these bands that were in the pop culture that were doing art about the climate that they were in.

And there's not a lot happening. There's no momentum behind truly revolutionary art. And I think

that comes from a place of like the streaming services and the immediacy that we want our products to come to us.
