Welcome back to the quote of the day show, I'm your hope, Sean Crox and a

It's throwback Thursday and we are turning back that clock all the way to episode number

12 84 in our feature speaker, Rabbi Daniel Lappin.

I love today's clip because you know, so many of us have the story that we've learned

or we've inherited in our brains and our minds that says money is bad.

People who have money are bad and that you can't really perceive yourself.

Like yourself image does not lend itself to one day becoming financially prosperous

because you don't see yourself as prosperous.

And so the Rabbi is going to talk about the real definition of money, which is money

is a certificate of performance.

And you do for somebody else, just like John Maxwell talked about yesterday, when you

add value to other people, people tend to exchange something of value for the value that you

gave to them and that is typically in the form of money.

So when you have lots of money, it means you performed lots of service or you provided

lots of products that helped other people.

That's key.

Now, I do want to bring one thing up because I think it deserves some mention here.

Maybe about two thirds through this clip, he talks about, you know, pottery or something
