0:58.1	Alabama series. This one is really, really interesting. It does technically happen outside
1:05.3	of Alabama, but there is an Alabama tie. So we thought, what the heck, let's do it.
1:11.6	We begin our story with Judy Whitley.
1:14.0	Now, she was born in Texas on April 4, 1943.
1:17.9	Her dad was from Latino background and was a farm worker, and she was named after her mom.
1:23.3	But unfortunately, there's really not a record of this.
1:27.0	Her mom did pass away from tuberculosis when she was just two years old.
1:32.0	So after her mother passed away, her dad was just at a loss.
1:37.0	They've got children and he just didn't know what to do.
1:40.2	So he sent her baby brother, Robert, to live with grandparents.
1:45.5	And the two older children were placed for adoption.
