Summary

In this episode, I take you along with me through the process of planning my spur of the moment turkey hunt to Wisconsin. I'm going to try to tack on at least one more state on that trip (likely Minnesota) as well. I'm way behind in the process for where I need to be at this point, but mainly because I did not know I was going to be in the area until about 3 weeks ago. Since I am way behind in the planning process, I have hit some roadblocks in my planning this trip. Listen in and follow along in the planning process. After everything is planned and my boots hit the ground, I'm taking you guys with me on the trip and the hunts from that trip as I'll be recording the entire trip and bringing that to you in an upcoming episode.

1:48.7	season. And Georgia's season opens in just a few short weeks, but it doesn't open before
1:55.9	Alabama season opens, which is in 35 days, 8 hours, 38 minutes, and 10 seconds. So those of you guys who
2:06.5	have been listening to the show for any length of time know that I'm in the process of trying
2:11.2	to complete my super slam of wild turkeys, which is killing a turkey in every state that has turkeys. And so my focus this
2:23.4	season is on other states more so than my home state of Alabama. And there are some states that are,
2:32.7	well, there are neighbors that I've not killed a turkey in.
2:37.0	And so I'm going to be focusing on those this year.
2:41.1	Georgia is one of them that I've got on my list and I plan on marking it off of my list this season.
