Hello everyone and welcome back to part two of my interview with Liz Lampson.

I already gave an introduction and we just spent two and a half really good hours with

Liz.

But Liz Lampson's story is amazing.

For those who follow the arts in Utah and in Salt Lake City, Liz is a bassist.

Is that the way to pronounce it?

She is performed with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Choir Temple Square.

She performs with ballet West.

But she's also a painter and she painted beautiful painting in Martin King Jr. for the Black

Lives Matter exhibit here in Salt Lake City that is it's shown at the Capitol, right?

Well actually that one's at my house.

But are you thinking of the Black Lives Matter mural?

Yes.

City Hall?

Okay, okay.

But yeah, I do some art.

I also painted a mural for the Black Student Union at Salt Lake Community College.

So if you go to the Multicultural Center at the...

Not the campus, the Redwood campus is what you call it?

Yeah, go to the Multicultural office there and there's a giant mural of lots of beautiful

black faces there.
