Summary
This week Pete's joined by everyone’s favourite nan, Grime Gran - and trust us, she does not hold back... the unexpected duo you didn't know you needed.
From her East End roots to unexpected social media fame, Grime Gran sits down with Pete to reveal how it all started, why authenticity is her secret weapon, and what it’s really like going viral later in life. She spills ALL on her favourite celebrity encounters and opens up about love and loss.
But it wouldn’t be Grime Gran without a bit of chaos… 👀
There’s a hilarious Gen Z slang challenge (that goes completely off the rails), brutally honest takes on modern dating vs “back in her day,” and some very strong opinions on romance, chivalry, and the cost of living today.

| 0:00.0 | I like it when I can let myself go and say what I want. Well, here is the perfect chance. I'm going to. You can do whatever. Listen, my own is your own. You can do whatever the fuck you like. That's nice. Welcome to Stan Relevant, the podcast hosted by me, Pete Wicks and Sam Thompson. But Sam Thompson isn't here. So I've got a very special guest. I'm going to tell you about that in a minute. This is the main episode, which means that you are going to be listening to this on a Monday or it comes out on a Monday. You can watch it on Josh and Kira's YouTube channel at 5pm on Wednesday. And then we'll be doing a bonus episode, which comes out audibly on Thursday, which you can watch on a Sunday from 5pm |

| 1:25.1 | I'll tell you what, listen, when you watch this, you'll be able to cut the sexual tension with a fucking knife. It's amazing. Well, there you go. Right. Do you know what? The reason I've been so excited about having you on, and we kind of spoke about this, like, really briefly a minute ago, is because your relationship with Beau, your grandson, is so similar to mine and my nans, and you remind me so much of my nan. There's lots of similarities because my nan, my family are all from the East End as are yours. And I think there's like a, I don't know what it is, like characteristics about people from the East End where we're, I think we're all just fucking normal, but everyone else thinks we're mental. Well, people don't class us as normal, because a lot of people don't like the swearing. But what they don't know is, in the East End of London, swearing was the second language. Yeah, it's affection, isn't it? Especially when I was a young, like, young kid. You know, you had to swear because if you didn't tell them first to fuck off, they'd knock shit out of you. |
| 2:19.8 | Exactly. |
| 2:20.4 | There you go. |
