Questions:
- Can you explain better what the challenge is about?
- I have really bad knees, they crackle and pop when I bend down or squat, and I feel like I’m constantly stressing them out when I try to do anything outside of walking. I’m aware that losing weight will help alleviate that pain but I feel like I get in a vicious cycle of trying to lose weight, hurting my knees, having to rest while they heal, then start all over again. Do you have any recommendations for at home exercises that are gentle on the knees?
- How can I get my partner on board ? I’m excited for your 60 day challenge, but scared if my husband isn’t on board it will affect my results with all the junk food he eats and lack of exercise.
- Low key ways to encourage loved ones to try resistance training/any kind of training?
- If I increase my calorie output before/after a night of drinking will it at least mitigate the negative effects on gains/fat loss?

| 0:00.0 | Mike Check 1-2. What is going on, everyone? Welcome to the fit, healthy, and happy podcast. I'm your host, Josh, here with my co-host. |
| 0:08.5 | KG in the house, Mike-check, Mike-check. Kyle Joseph Gronden in the house. Just turned 25 this guy. We missed his birthday on the Monday. Last mailbox Monday. So it was the Sunday before this Monday. That's how vague I can be, April 19th. So, yeah, late HBD to the kid. Yeah, thanks everyone for the support. Even Josh posted on our Instagram. If you're not following us there, Kloss is fit. A lot of people respond and then a lot of people send over DMs to my personal page. So thank you so much. It means the world to me. And I'm living to see another year. So can't complain. Another hustle. But yeah, the community is awesome. You know, shout out to all you all, especially everyone engaging, everyone jumping into our fitness challenge, taking advantage of that. You know, just shout out to everyone. It's really cool to see how strong this podcast and community is which is just absolutely awesome so I want |
| 0:59.0 | to give a thank you for that but we're going to go ahead and pivot right into our quotes here and we're |
| 1:03.3 | going to lead in with mine and I saw this quote and instantly I'm like this is my quote for the |
| 1:07.5 | week so my quote is sometimes we're tested not to show our weaknesses, but to discover our strengths. And I think, you know, with quarantine, with everything going on, that's exactly what happened here. You know, I really felt like before I was getting, I had the opportunity to do everything on easy mode and as did my clients, you know, you want a certain food, you go to the grocery store and you get it. You want to go to the gym four times. You want to go late at night. You know, we were very blessed |
| 1:31.2 | with that. And then obviously, you know, that was all restricted. And it became a question of, |
| 1:35.0 | you know, how bad do you really want to be in shape? Like, are you going to do what's required to |
| 1:38.8 | actually get this done when the going gets tough? And, you know know sometimes i think when you can step up to the test of this challenge |
| 1:45.0 | and really apply yourself you know once it's all said and done you're going to be better than ever |
| 1:48.9 | like if you can maintain your results or even improve imagine when everything reverts and you're back |
| 1:53.7 | to it you know you're really going to discover your strengths and your ability to continue forward |
| 1:57.8 | i love it man yeah we we keep saying like this is a big test of just overall, like, you know, do you have what it takes? You know, obviously a little bit easier for us. You know, we don't have kids or anything. But even for like we're working out literally more than ever, like I even calculate it's my total movement each day is almost like three hours after everything. it's just like it's pretty cool and uh |
| 2:17.8 | i just i think that's a really good quote like sometimes you just have to really push through those |
| 2:21.7 | really tough times and then you'll be absolutely shining when everything's easy and it kind of reminds |
| 2:26.4 | me of even the workouts like the ones that are really really tough you just got to keep going and |
| 2:30.4 | a lot of the other you know it's it's going to pay off. But anyways, my quote is one to do |
| 2:35.0 | with a little bit more, I guess, mental health you could say. Honestly, I don't know, I just randomly wanted to say this. I just have, you are worth it. Keep going. And I think literally every single person needs to hear this and, you know, just keep repeating it. Write it down, know on a on a paper and put it on a wall |
| 2:52.2 | in front of you write it on your notepad whatever it is wherever you'll constantly see it just |
| 2:56.7 | you are worth it keep going you know we're all going to get through this and even just for your |
| 3:01.6 | fitness and just overall mental health like just keep moving forward keep striving to be better |
| 3:06.1 | in different areas and and grow in different ways that we've talked about for the last like month or so and let's just keep |
| 3:11.5 | the good times rolling keep tuning into these episodes because we've been getting a lot of messages |
