Welcome to the J. Scott Outdoors Podcast. Today we have kind of part four with Michael Park. Michael Park is a good friend.

I was able to hunt with them in 1996, I believe the first year we met and in 2009,

Michael has killed 50 elk with his bow. He's 48 years old. That's quite a feat.

Michael, how you doing?

Pretty good. Jay, how you doing today?

Good. Did we meet in 96 or was it 97?

97.

Okay, 97.

I think in the last episode I said 96 as well.

You had a tag in 97 and I met you on the side of the road. I think I was underneath a jacked up truck of mine that the brakes had gone out as about a thousand dollar truck that I had at the time.

Yeah, was it a two-tone brown Ford Ranger or was it just brown?

Well, it was brown because it was dirty but the original color was

blue but I don't think I ever washed that truck one time and you know knowing me all it needed was some break fluid but for whatever I remember I was

underneath that thing and you and Casey came pulling up and you had a tag there in unit 3c and got to tag around with you guys and had a great time and I credit you guys with teaching me a lot about El-Kunning right from the get-go and it's been fun chasing those buggers ever since.

seen good shots gone bad you've seen bad shots gone good you've probably seen some crazy things that have actually

killed Elk and I want to talk to you about shot execution under pressure, things that you found that help you.

And I want to talk about some shot angles and kind of dive into all of that so let's have some fun today okay?
