Hey, it's that Saturday feeling again, and I've got an episode for you that originally aired

live on the Sean Atwood YouTube channel. That's what I do with my Saturday episodes.

It's part of a larger show from the Sean Atwood True Crime Podcast.

It's four hours long and we do these sort of every half an hour or hour.

It's a different guest and this was live in front of a big audience of people saying lots of things and it's a great one because

journalist Tony Ortega joins me to discuss the lawsuits currently affecting Scientology.

This October 2022 is the big trial they've been putting off of Danny Masterson.

You might remember him as the curly-haired actor from That 70s show.

And he could go to prison for decades after being accused of rape by at least four women.

The women are also suing Scientology, alleging that Scientologists have been stalking

and harassing them. One plaintiff claims her dog died due to unexplained traumatic injuries

to its neck. She alleges that church members chased her car,

filmed her without permission, harassed her online, and even posted ads to

social media in her name soliciting sex.

Another plaintiff claims Scientologists have been snapping photos of her and smashed her 13 year old

daughter's bedroom window.

Now this is part of Scientology's fair game policy that they carry

out against detractors they deny that they continue doing so. Marston has said he will

fight this in the courts and counter-sou one of the women and anyone

who jumped on the bandwagon.

Meanwhile, the singer, Cedric Bixler Zavala, who claims Masterson raped his wife, reported that a second of his

family pets had to be put down due to being fed rat poison inside a rolled-up piece of raw meat.
