The crucial thing here is that there has to be a way to find a balance,

where you have to be able to simultaneously say,

the medical system can get things wrong, and people on the fringe can get things right,

and you have to be always open to that possibility,

without assuming, without sort of flipping the script, which I think is the mistake that

a lot of people in what you might call populous medicine make,

and say, oh, if the establishment is wrong about this one thing,

I'm going to assume that they're wrong about everything, right?

Because, in fact, you know, the basic discoveries of modern medicines from antibiotics,

which were the main thing that I took.

I did a lot of stranger things, but antibiotics were the core of my treatment,

to vaccines, to, you know, chemotherapy for cancer.

Like, there are core things the medical system does right,

that I think need to be defended and respected.

Even as you need to recognize all the places where medical consensus can try.

And that's a really hard balance to strike.
