Summary
Two-and-a-half years ago, Adam and Danielle put out their most downloaded episode ever, revealing some very personal details of their marriage. To this day, it remains one of the most revealing and vulnerable episodes of any relationship podcast. Now, they're talking about all the ways they've grown and evolved since the release of that episode, and the ways in which they are still affected by those same issues. Danielle asks some questions she still has about that infamous night, and Adam tries to explain the details of the mysterious aspects that surround the night of Danielle 40th birthday celebration. There is still a lot to discuss about that night, and although love the current state of their relationship, those memories have not just disappeared. NOTE: THIS IS A VERY RAW CONVERSATION HAPPENING IN REAL TIME.
There's a lot of history, frustration, emotion, and pent up curiosity here, and listeners are encouraged to listen with an understanding that this is an extremely personal issue they are sharing with the world, unedited.
Danielle gets extremely raw in this episode, and so much comes pouring out that she has been waiting to say for so long. Part 2 will highlight more about Adam's experience and how they will both be moving forward together.

| 0:29.9 | Hi, that was a very abrupt hi. Well, thank you all so much for being patient with us. |
| 0:37.4 | Life has been chaotic to say the least. Would you agree, Danielle? Oh yeah, 100% and it's not |
| 0:46.3 | changing. They know the drill and they've heard it before. Right, and it's not changing very much |
| 0:50.0 | anytime soon, but we promised this episode and Danielle and I were very excited to do this episode |
| 0:56.3 | because we have not sat down. Like this is weird to us right now sitting recording because it's |
| 1:01.6 | been so long, but it's all good. So no worries. We just wanted to make sure we got this episode out |
| 1:08.1 | as planned and promised. So here we are. Okay. Yeah. No, I just feel like we haven't done this. |
| 1:17.5 | Like I'm so out of me too. I feel so out of practice. And when we don't do it for a little while, |
| 1:23.6 | like I feel my whole rhythm is off. Like in life, I feel like if I haven't podcasted and I'm going |
| 1:29.9 | to do the interviews and stuff. And recently you've been so incredibly busy, especially with putting |
| 1:35.3 | out the ebook and everything that I was doing some of the interviews by myself. And it's still |
| 1:40.4 | podcasting, but it's completely different. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Whole new side of things. But |
| 1:46.3 | things are good. So we're not complaining. We're just saying, hey, we promised this. No, no one's |
| 1:50.9 | complaining. Actually, I wanted to say, well, I want to say two things. Okay. First thing I want |
| 1:56.3 | to say was to everyone who supported us in the launch of our ebook. I don't know how much people |
| 2:02.9 | understand the behind the scenes of what went on with the ebook. It was truly a labor of love. It |
| 2:10.5 | was like such a testament to our partnership, you and me out of my think, like with between |
| 2:16.4 | the writing and the putting it together. And we didn't hire an agent. We didn't hire a publisher. |
| 2:22.3 | We didn't hire a marketer. We did it all ourselves. And everyone was so incredibly supportive. And |
| 2:28.7 | it was just successful launch. And we're so grateful to everybody who supported us. So thank you |
| 2:36.2 | to all of you. Any of you who have not purchased the date night book, the feedback we're getting |
