Welcome back, everybody, to The Incomparable.

I'm your host, Jason Snell, and we're back with a sequel to episode 99, if you consult your incomparable reference materials that I, you no doubt, bring out before you listen to

every episode to Talley, how many times I, uh, comment about how many books Scott Nulty reads,

or how many references to David Lour as the next Dan Moran, or, you know, I can't really

expect anybody to count the number of times we talk about Glenning, because that's like nearly an infinite number, if my math is correct. But anyway, you'll discover that episode

99 was something we called the summer reading list, which was not really a draft so much as just

an opportunity for us to pick books that we like, that we wanted to recommend that everybody

out there might want to read. We got a lot of feedback

from people saying, hey, I'm looking for a good book to read. You got any suggestions? And so we're doing it

again. And so that was the summer reading list. I guess this is the winter reading list, although

there's no theme intended here other than books we like. And by the time we're done, you should

have more than a dozen books that you can consider

to put on your own reading list or if you want if you're expecting gifts this holiday season

put on your gift list and have your loved ones buy them for you so everybody's going to pick

some books they like and talk about them a little bit and that's the whole show let me introduce

these people who are who have read at least three books to comprise a list. David Lohr, as I mentioned
