Hello, friends, it's Francie.

0:06.6

Welcome back.

0:07.4

Today we have a really fun episode with a listener who wrote me a letter and gave me permission

0:12.4

to share it.

0:14.5

And I'm going off that letter and really going deep into conversation about what it looks

0:18.8

like to disciple the women around us and the next generation

0:22.8

into sexual wholeness. Without any further ado, I'm going to jump right in this episode

0:28.2

because it lights my heart on fire to think about the goodness and the glory of God moving in

0:35.0

us and through us in every area of our lives.

0:38.2

And I want to say especially our sexual nature and our sex lives because of the amount of

0:45.0

darkness and the amount of silence around it.

There's so many layers of inspiration and application from her letter.

1:29.3

I'm going to read it to you. And we're going to unpack some big ideas, primarily the big idea

1:33.7

that we were made for sexual discipleship. And I'm just going to use that word. Just so you know,

1:39.4

Julie Slattery has a whole ministry called sexual discipleship. She's trademarked that name. That is a phrase that I've used in my ministry over the years. But she actually has a whole ministry called sexual discipleship. She's trademarked that name.

1:48.6

That is a phrase that I've used in my ministry over the years, but she actually has a real program called sexual discipleship that allows you space to take advantage of resources and have

1:53.9

small groups virtually and really find discipleship and mentorship around these topics.

2:00.2

So I'm going to use that phrase here and there

2:02.8

because this listener used that in her email. But there actually is a real resource called
