Welcome everybody. This is Derek. I'm joined by Rich on this week's Sixers beat a part of the CLNS Media Network.

We welcome Rich back from the West Coast, went on the Sixers four-game road trip where they went two and two.

Out there in sunny California, meanwhile, we were in the negative temperatures.

Of course, you come back and now we're in nearly 60 degrees. So you have had a, you picked a good road trip, which, Rich, congratulations. Thank you, ma'am. I did pick a good road trip. It was a... I'm calling it now, by the way. I'm going on the California trip next year. Fair. Fair enough.

Yeah, it was a good road trip.

I mean, it was, you know, you really can't beat Los Angeles and San Francisco as the two middle cities slash Oakland.

And, you know, they were. Also, you got probably the best win of this era of Sixers basketball to witness, too.

That was cool.

That was cool.

And in very Sixers fashion, they sandwiched two very exciting wins in between two games.

They pretty much punted.

I mean, they really punted that Denver game.

But, you know, not playing JJ, as it turns out, can kind of mess you up.

And the result you get is seven of 33 from three and kind of a frustrating loss to Sacramento at the end of it.

Seven and 33 from three, and that's even with Jimmy Butler going unconscious at the, I mean, he had what, four four or five of the seven made three-pointers. Nobody else on the team was bringing it from the perimeter. Yeah, it was... You know, I think it's good that they got some rest for some guys. You know, I think especially the Denver game was a smart one to rest people at. With what I think two days off before and after, giving him Bede that day off as well,

gave him a chance to kind of get his legs and his back under him, and I think that was

smart to do.

And that's kind of what makes this eight game, you know, they're two-thirds of the way

through this 12-game stretch.

They have, what they have, Toronto, yeah, Toronto, Denver, Boston, and the Lakers.

Not necessarily in that order.

The first, Toronto and Denver, and then I think it might be Lakers, Boston.
