So this is our first time recording since the U.S. and the world kind of began to mobilize in terms of protesting police brutality, which was spurred by the murder of George Floyd.

Kind of happened as we were doing our 24-hour marathon.

We emerged from that and just I turned, my roommate turned on the news and I was in this delirious state and it was kind of a rude awakening to see that and have to kind of confront that and figure out how we would react to that. Definitely don't suggest doing that on zero hours of sleep. But we are processing it now and we just thought it'd be important for a college basketball podcast, specifically one with three white guys behind the mic, to mention our support and voice our support for the movement for change.

And they are basically forming an organization that's geared toward helping kids within inner cities underprivileged,

you know, fostering community relationships and improving academic and athletic opportunities for the under-resourced youth as their official mission statements.

non-new academic and athletic equipment and under-resourced community. So just things of that nature.

There's a billion out there, but that's what we want to highlight since it is so closely tied to our

college basketball world. Yeah, one other thing the coaches are doing. A lot of them are

vowing to give their players off on Election Day, November 3rd.

That's starting to be a real push in society so that players can go vote without having to worry about skipping practice.
