December, I promised you, as I do every year, a best of 2024 episode. I had actually recorded the

episode that I was planning to publish. And then at the last minute, I was just like,

I don't love this episode. I'm not going to release it. And I was like, you know what? I'll figure it out. I'll do something else on substack. I'll re-record the episode, et cetera, et cetera, and vowed to get it to you in Q1 of 2025.

However, life has gotten in the way life has happened.

Hello, everybody. Hi, how are you? I'm so happy to have you on the podcast today. As you mentioned, it's been a minute. It has, and I'm looking forward to seeing and smelling all the different fragrances that you have in front of us. You have a very full table. So it should be a lot of fun. You listen to perfume room every week, right? I do. So do you remember a 20-24 best-of episode that I promised? I remember that you promised it. I remember you told me you made it and that you didn't like it. So that's why I've pulled out the big guns today, the reinforcements. Right, because I am such an expert on all this that I'm sure I'll add so much to this. Well, you were nervous about coming

on the podcast because you were like, I don't feel like I'm good at describing sense.

But I said, I think it would just be really fun if you smell the sense that I've picked out as my

favorites and my favorite discoveries, new releases, et cetera, of 2024 and just live react to them.

Sure. I'm happy to do that. Okay. So with the caveat that everything that's featured in this episode is something I love. I have put it in this episode because I think it's wonderful. It's okay if you don't agree. In fact, it's welcome if you don't agree. And if you are a brand listening to this and you are part of this episode, I loved your perfume. My mother might

not agree, and that is okay, but I loved your perfume. Okay, but one thing I have learned,

which is I can distinguish now between something being good that I won't wear and something that I

love that I would wear. So I can, at this point, at least appreciate something good, but say it may not be for me.
