This week's story was particularly intriguing for us to research.

Now setting aside the horrible things that happen to certain individuals in this story and focusing only on the research,

we really enjoyed learning about this, let me say, rather bizarre case.

Yeah.

First off, it's the perfect example of how sometimes fact is stranger than fiction, but also the elements that make it

so freaking bananas really hit us in our wheelhouse.

1,000 percent, which is a percentage that doesn't exist by the way.

Todd and I share a very short list of things that fascinate us both.

On this list, among others, are highly successful con artist and extraterrestrial

phenomenon. We are intoxicated by the psychology behind why certain people are

so masterful at deceiving and manipulating others and of course the

inevitable threat of an alien invasion.

Two of my favorite movies are Catch Me If You Can with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, an independence

day with Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum.

In this week's case is like those two movies had a threesome with Charles Manson and somehow made a baby.

And although the science behind that analogy is seriously flawed, the idea behind it

is pretty much spot on.
