Today we are going to be talking about the Clovina Massacre, where the killer actually dressed up as Santa to commit the massacre. Quickly before I get into it, I just want to give my usual disclaimer that I mean absolutely no disrespect to anyone that I talk about in this video.

This video is for educational purposes and everything that I'm about to say is information that I have found on the internet and I'm compiling into one video on the case.

On December 24th, Christmas Eve of 2008, the Ortega family were hosting a Christmas party around at their house in Covina in California.

The hosts of this party were an elderly couple named Joseph and Alicia Ortega, and overall

it had around 25 attendees, most of which were close family.

All five of the Ortega children were there, so Alicia and Joseph's children, but they were all adults,

and their names were Charles, James, Letitia, Alicia and Sylvia.

And some of these five Ortega children brought their partners and their children, so Joseph and Alicia's grandchildren,

and the party started in the early evening.

They listened to Christmas music, they ate food, they drank alcohol,

the adults played a game of poker while the children were playing video games. And then at

around 11.30pm there was a knock at the door and so one of the grandchildren ran to answer

it, Letitia's eight-year-old daughter. So she opened the door and saw a man standing there in a

Santa suit holding a wrapped present and so she got really door and saw a man standing there in a Santa suit holding a wrapped present

and so she got really excited and started shouting to a family that Santa was here.

It was then that this man in a Santa suit produced a handgun and shot the little girl in the face.
