This is a good deeds gone wrong.

He says, I'm not one for offering favors.

If people need help, I'll help, but in general,

I avoid unnecessary interference.

My wife, on the other hand, just loves offering other people my help,

which always just ends up with me being lumbed with someone else's problem.

We used to live down a pedestrian lane.

You had to park at the top and walk about 100 meters to the roadhouses at the end.

One morning, my wife walked past some neighbors who were in the process of moving out.

Walking past, they moaned about the fact that they'd like to lug all their old furniture,

so for desks, etc, up the lane to take the tip.

My wife, the lovely lady that she has told them not to bother,

and just chuck it in our garden, because I would burn it for them.

What?

I got home from the contents of a three-bedroom student house on my lawn.
