What's up, everybody? Welcome to another episode of Just Say with Justin Marndale. I'm Justin Marndale, and we have a pride episode for you guys today. I mean, I wanted to like start off with like a little bit about me. Well, I will say this. I have shows Friday in Napa, California.

Uh, at the crew winery, me, Heather McDonald and Julie Goldman. So please come to those get your tickets. Uh, for some wine tasting and fun. I don't know. But, uh, without further ado, I have a friend of mine. I have, he has just been all over the place. Uh, you have seen him on pose on effects. You've seen him on hacks on HBO Max and his show Queer's Folk just premiered on peacock.

Uh, without further ado, Johnny Sibley, welcome. Thank you. Or should I say, hit it, hit it, hit it, hit it, hit it, hit it, hit it, hit it, hit it. Ow. I love that. How are you, girl? Uh, I'm great. Good. Good. I am filled with happiness. You should be. You're all over the place. You are just, I, I see your Instagram and you're just like, oh, New York and now I'm back in L.A. And I mean, it has been a wild ride for you. Yeah.

I remember the days when I couldn't even afford to go to Fire Island because I was so broke. So I've never been to Fire Island. Really? I know. Am I trying to watch the movie? I did. I watched it over the weekend because I was like, it's pride. I got to watch it. Just a little look into what, what to expect. It looked really humid. Um, yeah. Yeah. That's part of it. It's like tropical. Yeah. Yeah. It's more tropical than like province town for sure. Yeah. It feels a little more secluded than P town. And P town also feels more like families and, you know,

it feels more tame, I will say. Yeah. There was a lot of shenanigans in Fire Island. I liked it though. It was very, very fun. Yeah. Um, but I mean, how is your pride season been? I mean, you've got like one of the top shows now. Yeah. I mean, it came out in June. It feels, it's like, uh, my pride's been busy. It's been a more about, you know, promoting the show and making sure that people watch it and, you know, but it feels like a normal pride.

Because all of these events are pride related. They're queer related. So even though we're talking about the show, it still feels like a bit of celebrate. Yeah.

And I was just in the LA pride parade, which is really nice. And I always forget like how many queer people there are. There's so many. I'm like, oh, because, you know, you, you, you hang out with your friends and you're like, yeah, yeah, I feel like I know everyone. Yeah.

And then you go out in the street in the pride parade and you're like, holy, no,

Lee, not only how many queer people they are, but like how many supporters we have to. Yes. It's, I love that. I think that it was magical.

I will say you were in a car in the pride parade. I was not. I, uh, my boyfriend works for Amazon. And so we marched with the

glamazon. Oh, and so we got designated as flag bearers. Oh,

so he and I were just holding these flags, just like, letting, like, flagography. Yeah.

And just flags in full form. And it was just so fun. And I will say I got a little emotional at times, just because, uh, the one in

West Hollywood was like two weekends ago. Yeah. And you know, you just see all these people and all these walks of life. I got, I got

emotional with the moms. Oh, the mom hugs mom hugs every time every time. And I was hugging moms. I was just like, uh, yeah.

And luckily my mom is very supportive of me and everything. But it's just, you know, you, you, you, you get out of the, the bubble of being

comfortable with how good we have it here. And you're just kind of like, God, there's, there's people out there that are

just going through it. And it's just so nice to see that people are embracing. And then we walked by that church

on sunset. And they were outside. Oh, I know. They were like, we love you. We're like, we love you too. Yeah. Yeah.

It's just so it was just such an uplifting, like, experience and just, it just put my head in the right place, especially

being here, like, this is a predominantly straight comedy club. So it's like getting to, to perform is like, I think one of the few, if not

only openly gay people here, it's like a sense of like, okay, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm introducing people from like all over
