Summary
Alex Hannaford returns with a major update on the case of Andres Mascorro, who has spent 27 years in prison for the murder of Darryl Kolojaco, despite always maintaining his innocence.
Back in 2003, serial killer Angel Resendiz told Alex that he - not Andres - was responsible for the murder, but the State of Texas executed him three years later.
By the time the podcast series ended in 2019, the case appeared to be a clear miscarriage of justice. Since then, an extraordinary effort by lawyers and investigators has gone into trying to exonerate Andres.
Now, Alex reveals what's been happening behind the scenes - and shares some incredible news.
Presented by Alex Hannaford and produced by Peter Sale
