Enjoy the show. You know, and This happened when my boyfriend and I were living in our car.

There's a road that leads to a quiet beach on the bay near some train tracks, and there's

only one road in and out. Not many people come down this way unless they're

accessing the beach, heading to work at one of the industrial plants along the road, attending an

AA meeting, or sleeping in their vehicles like we were. Nothing in the area was open except maybe a

couple of bars, and even those were a good three or four blocks away.

Most of the road has eight-hour parking signs, so there are usually at least a few people camped there overnight, many of whom we've seen before.

That night, though, there weren't as many people, just a few vehicles

taking advantage of the overnight parking. We parked a bit further up the road than usual,

hoping for a better internet connection. It was a little after 12.30 a.m. and we were relaxing

with our dog watching YouTube and starting to get sleepy when we heard a car pull up

behind us. We noticed that its lights were off. We keep our windows completely covered. We do this so that

nobody can see inside, but we can peek out if we move a window covering and we're curious about approaching cars.

My boyfriend checked it out and said that it was a van.

We didn't think much of it

and went back to trying to watch our show

despite the spotty Wi-Fi connection.
