What does he want to do?

If you're just going to get rid of all of the ambassadors rather than having some of them stay on until you can replace them through the normal senatorial approval process.

You're just going to get rid of them and then have some sort of deputy ambassador that Trump appointed,

who didn't get confirmed by the Senate, actually running our foreign policy with regard to that country.

That is a very terrifying thought.
