Welcome back to the quarter of the day show I'm your host Sean Crox and a

Sean Crox and calm. We got less brown back on the show for your motivation

Monday and today less is going to talk about one of my favorite topics.

He's going to talk about the need that so many of us have for everybody to like us.

You know always think about I think about some weird things.

Always think about Maslow's hierarchy of needs and how that third wrong that

middle wrong is like belonging connection being loved and right above that when

you when you fill that need that's when you get self esteem and then when

you feel that need you can move up to self actualization.

Most people get stuck in the middle wrong.

They need to feel like they belong they need to be liked they need to feel

connected and I think it stops us from living the lives that we want to live.

I'm reading a book right now it's called Taking Responsibility by Nathaniel

Brandon phenomenal book highly recommended it talks about

individuation like becoming your own person with your own thoughts with your own

convictions but instead of individuating instead of being or becoming who we

are instead of becoming who everybody wants us to be we just we stop thinking

for ourselves and we don't really know ourselves and we don't know ourselves.

It's hard to be happy it's hard to have a fulfilling life when you don't know

where you stop and other people begin where the thoughts in your mind the self

talking your mind you're not sure if it's your voice or somebody else's voice.
