Summary

Beginning in the spring of 1966, folks living in Mason County, West Virginia were afflicted with a rash of uncanny UFO encounters, disturbing animal mutilations and the sudden appearance of a winged, man-like monstrosity known locally as “the Bird,” but as bizarre as these confrontations may have been they would pale before the supernatural tsunami that was destined to descend on the once tranquil town known as Point Pleasant.
