devotional podcast now here's pamela to get you fired up for all god has available for you today

well good morning beautiful welcome to a brand new day of life. Happy Friday, my friends. Oh my gosh,

it's so good to get to be alive. I'm excited to get to be here with you today. Okay, I need to tell you,

you might be confused when you go to your podcast app and you look for Big Life devotional

because the image is changing, y'all, and I'm so excited. So you have come to know me as the woman that

wears those red high heel boots because that's the image of the podcast,

right? It's been the image since the very first day of this podcast. And you know, it's really funny

because I have people ask me, like, is that you? And I'm like, yeah, that's me. Those are my legs. Those were my boots.

But it's crazy because if you know me, you know that is so not me. I don't wear boots. I don't wear

high heels. But I think back when we first started this, I mean, here's the truth.

I think I kind of thought I had to be somebody else to earn the right to talk to you.

Like that I had to be this person and this person in my head was different than who I really was.

And so I kind of became known as this woman in these red boots. And it's so funny because I think I

wore those red boots twice, once for that photo and once for a speech. And I was like,

this is so not me.

And so for the longest time, I've wanted to update and change the logo of Big Life Devotional,

but the experts will tell you, people get used to something and you don't change it. You change it, you'll lose people. They won't be able to

find you. They'll, they'll disconnect. And you know what I said? I don't care. I don't care what

the experts say. So yesterday, my husband and I walked out to the beach and, uh, we took some new photos and

created a new little logo. And it's so much more represents who I am. I'm barefoot on the beach.

I'm wearing my $15 favorite yellow sundress from the Walmart because that's really who I am.
