Happy Thursday, my friends.

I was just chatting with the girls that I mentor.

And we were noticing what today's date is.

If you're listening actually on schedule, Thursday, July 25th, today is five months until Christmas.

How about that? Five more months. But right now, y'all,

it is summertime. And I hope that you are enjoying this once in a lifetime summer 24.

Don't waste a day. Show up and live it. Well, I want to help you get today started right. The title of today's

episode of the Big Life Devotional podcast is Open Wide. How do we expect God to fill what has no

space for him? Maybe we don't leave space for him.

Maybe we don't leave space for him because we don't really expect him to show up anyway.

Is that where you are?

You stopped asking because you've been disappointed. The time you've made for him didn't do anything for you and you're

just as confused and overwhelmed as you've ever been. My sister, I am so sorry that you're feeling

disappointed. I am so sorry that the circumstances of your life have made you feel forgotten by God or continually

punished for something that you can't go back and fix now. I promise that is not what God is doing.

He is a good, good father who wants to bless you and provide for you. Psalm 81, verse 10, I literally got giddy last night as I read

this scripture. I highlighted it in hot pink and I could not share, could not wait to share it with

you today. The Lord says, open your mouth wide and I will fill it.

Now imagine baby birds awaiting the return of mama and papa with their regurgitated breakfast.
