You know, it's not like you say, oh, he's an Aryan and that means he denies the divinity of Jesus Christ

says what is the modernist heresy well I, I think, first of all, we should get out of our mind that modernist simply means

that a modernist is in favor of everything which is modern, and an anti-modernist is in favor of being old-fashioned and like an Amish person and doesn't want to have modern technology and so forth.

That's not really the definition. Instead we're talking about a theological heresy, which has, well, I believe has really been

haunting the church in one form or another for the last 500 years. I've just

it's been interesting to me how the history of the church breaks into you could

break it into 500 year sort of sagas or eons and the last 500 years from the

16th century to our own day has been an age of revolution and an age in which the old

certainties philosophically and theologically and in society and church have all

been overturned and one of those is the philosophy of the early

Church and and really the medieval church which had a kind of integrated understanding of the supernatural

sacraments made sense because the whole world was charged with the glory of God.
