And here we have two perpetrators with two very different mindsets, even after incarceration.

Should remorse be accepted in sentencing in early parole? Should young offenders receive more lenient sentences because of their youth and immaturity? Should they be allowed to live their lives free

Virginia. Sixteen-year-old Skylar disappeared without a trace after sneaking out of her home and

getting into a vehicle. An exhaustive search commenced over the next several

months as police, along with Skyla's friends and family, hoped for her safe return. But she was

never seen alive again. Schuyler remained missing for nearly a year until shocking evidence

brought this missing person's case to a tragic end.

This is Skyler's story.

This time of year is particularly hard for the niece family.

What started as a missing person's case turned into their worst nightmare. In July 4th, I just start, you know, getting sad and crying.

So it takes a couple of days before I can get over it. Even after all this time, the family says there's still no relief from the pain.
