Hi, I'm Sarah Ellis and this is the Squiggly Careers podcast. In this week's episode,

you'll hear my conversation with Bill Burnett and Dave Evans, the authors of designing your

work life. I was really looking forward to speaking to Bill and Dave as I've admired their work

since reading their first book, which was about designing your

life. And we've got lots in common, I think, with the work that they do. It's very practical,

action focus, lots of tools and techniques to try out. So I think if you like Squiggly

careers and Squiggly Career book, I think you'll like the work that they do. And where they're different to

us is that they take their expertise in design thinking and apply it to how we think about our

careers. So really they're borrowing from one world to benefit another. And I think that idea

works brilliantly. Those tools and techniques give us a really interesting way to think about

the work that we do.
